Rocio Chávez Cruz

It has been 2 years now that Rocío has beenconfined to a wheelchair. We have been by her side since the beginning, giving us the opportunity to witness a very positive transformation. Her desire to win the battle of “accepting” a life that no one else would want for themselves is an example of the purest form of courage and determination. Her smile alone is evidence of her personal victory and an enormous inspiration for anyone fortunate enough to see it.
Besides financial support, we have been offering Rocío transportation services and have accompanied her to more than 400 medical appointments. Our goal is to continue helping her with her journey so she can see her 2 little daughters grow.

"Lupita"

It has been one year that we have been involved with Lupita and her six little princesses. To see them all live a normal life for the very first time has been a pure blessing for us. Being forced into a tremendous amount of responsibility for her three sisters and own four children, Lupita never had the opportunity, nor by any means was ever encouraged, to attend school of any sort as she was growing up. For the past 7 months on her own initiative, she sought out and has been attending classes regularly that are teaching her basic skills and will help her determine her own future. She has also requested and is receiving English classes. All her children and sisters are in school as well, striving to catch up to the skill levels of their respective age roups. Education was never made a priority for them in the past. Our goal is to guide them so they can mature into competence and independence as fine young women.

Martha Segundo Segundo

It has been one year since Martha hasn’t had to live by moving from place to place, and her dignity has been restored. With her newfound
stability, her 11 year old son Carlos has been restored to the family after living with a distant grandmother for several years. Despite being wheelchair bound, Martha brings to her family and others around her a sense of security and
responsibility.
Our goal is to continue to give them a real hance of having a normal life so that one day the family can be self sustaining and independent.

Lucio Vazquez López

Three months ago we started with them a long journey. There are no words to explain how tragic their situation is, but it is remarkable the courage that they have. Our goal is to offer them support as long as it will be necessary.
